Want to Help Test the New Mockups To Go?

· Posted by Mike in Products · 4 Comments

Our latest release of myBalsamiq allows anonymous uploading and mockup creation on Wiki projects, so we're opening up the submissions queue on the new Mockups To Go that we've created at https://mockupstogo.mybalsamiq.com

So if you want to help us test it out, head to the submissions project and either create or upload a new mockup. You can also browse through the library of mockups we've ported over and propose alternate versions of mockups there. Jenni wins the prize for making the first change to fix a mockup I posted last week. 🙂

Give it a try and let us know what breaks and what changes you'd like to see there.

  1. @Jerry Gordinier

It’s a temporary and necessary step for us to integrate Mockups To Go into the Desktop and myBalsamiq applications. The goal is to be able to search for Symbols libraries in-app, and we need to store the files in-house rather than on a blog in order to make this happen.

We’ll get there, but we’re a small team, so it will take some time.

  2. I absolutely love Balsamiq, but I’ve gotta say i’m really disappointed in this new layout of mockup togo. I’ve gone on a few times to find some things, just now for a rich text-editing function bar, and have found the site extremely difficult to navigate through to find things that were available quickly in the previous version. Google site search doesn’t seem to function through it. and it’s incredibly sluggish. I really wish the old version was still in existence somewhere.

  3. Hi, Jim. No myBalsamiq doesn’t have search yet, but it’s planned. We’ve done a first pass at wireframing it, but won’t be working on that until after we release.

  4. Is there a search function? I hate to have to open all the categories to find something. Is this only possible when logged in?
