And we're extra excited to announce we're raffling off one free ticket to the UX Thailand Conference! No matter where you reside, there are opportunities nearby.
We are raffling off 1 FREE TICKET (travel and lodging not included.) If you can be in Bangkok, Thailand for this great event, enter to win! Good luck!
UCSB’s 5th annual hackathon is a 36 hour event fostering innovation and creativity through learning by doing, with some wicked prizes up for grabs. While taking breaks from building your projects, you’ll enjoy free meals, attend fun mini-events, interact with industry leaders, and make some friends along the way. We hope to see you there!
"StarterHacks is a beginner-focused hackathon that works to foster collaboration, education, and inclusion. Form a team with other first time hackers with different skills and meet our Impact Partners. Together you can work on solutions that will change tomorrow!"

We want you to bring your excitement, creativity and desire to learn in order to discover what you are capable of building. In return, we promise to provide you with the resources, food, space, and the best experience that we can create for an unforgettable hackathon. Are you in?"
"Rose Hack is the first women-centric hackathon at the University of California, Riverside. Founded by the female leaders of the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM-W) and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Rose Hack will be a community where women in STEM can feel supported in sharing and expressing their ideas. Our mission at Rose Hack is to encourage individuals from underrepresented groups in STEM to gain experience, build confidence, and create a strong network together."
"You Got This will cover topics across three themes - learning, living and levelling-up. This isn’t your typical tech conference - we're not talking about your technical skills, but everything else needed for a happy, healthy work life. You Got This is an annual, 150+ person conference for junior developers, designers, and their teams to learn how to better support their co-workers."
"Theme: Beyond and Behind the Screen
The screen till now is the dominant paradigm of interacting with digital technology. But interacting with digital technology is becoming complex than ever. Join us for these in-depth conversations at the conference."
"We believe the IT industry will greatly benefit from bringing more women into technology. We want to give you an opportunity to learn how to program and become one of us – women programmers! Workshops are free of charge and if you cannot afford coming to Sherpur but are very motivated to learn and then share your knowledge with others, we may have some funds to help you out with your travel costs and accommodation."
"Pragma is premier student developers’ conference held at IIIT-Allahabad. Attracting some of the best student developers from across India, Pragma is a 2 day extravaganza featuring a hackathon, workshops and numerous talks.Pragma’s main aim is to spark conversations between the students and get their ideas flowing because young blood often produces revolutionary ideas."
"The event is meant to hold maximum of 100 designers, taking place at workstation. The theme is “Design at Scale” and the documentary will explore how design has risen to become one of the most important roles in modern business. Get a chance to meet world class designers, engage, connect and network with like-minded experience designers. Perhaps this can also be an opportunity for starters to connect with companies/businesses looking to hire designers."
Hoping your year has been full of creativity and productivity. We'll be back with more interesting events in 2019!
