That was a very thoughtful and insightful blog post. I agree completely with your thought that companies have a “natural size”. I also believe there is a “natural size” for the number of competitors you will find in your local marketplace and the world over.
We become entrepreneurs thinking we are finally in full control of our destiny because there is no boss, but we ultimately realize that there will always be a boss: the customer.
Thanks Ron! Good point about competition as well. I often tell new entrepreneur to look for a space that’s already sustaining a couple of businesses…it means people are already spending money there.
Amen on the customer being the ultimate boss! 🙂
