Hello friends of Balsamiq!
At Balsamiq, we are very much aware of how privileged our lives are. We get to work from home near our loved ones, working on things we love, with people we love, for people who love us back. 😊 It's pretty incredible when we think about it.
We're constantly thinking of ways we can give back and share all this love with more and more people. It's not only the right thing to do, but it makes us feel good, too!
Today I want to tell you about a new initiative we started doing recently, which we're calling...
Office Hours with Your Friends at Balsamiq
The idea is simple: we want to make our knowledge available to people who might benefit from it.
We have been running a successful independent software startup for over 11 years now. We know many of you are just getting started, or are only dreaming of entrepreneurship.
We also have very senior employees, experts in various fields such as UX Design, Customer Service, Graphic Design, and more. We'd love to help you in your careers, if we can.
How does it work?
The way it works is simple: a few of our senior staff members have set aside some time each month to meet online with one of you for a 1-hour advice chat.
You simply pick who you want to talk to and schedule a chat. That's it!

We're SUPER excited about this initiative. For us, being able to offer this service is a real treat. It's like a company benefit for our employees!
Working from home gets pretty lonely sometimes, so meeting our customers even for an hour is a great way to expand our networks and make new friends.
In exchange, you get to pick the brains of people who have been there and done that, and make a new friend in the process.
We already met some of you in the past few months, and we'd love to see our time slots fully booked! 😊
This is not a marketing scheme! We're not going to record nor publish these conversations or anything. We won't sign NDAs, but we also won't share what we spoke about with anyone outside Balsamiq.
All we ask in return from you is to join our Customer Advisory Board so that we can ask you a question or two in the future to help us make Balsamiq better for everyone. After our meeting, you'll be part of our inner circle. 😊
